About Daniel

Hi, I’m Daniel or Danny, but never Dan.

It’s nice to meet you.

Marketing is not a job to me. It’s my passion. Over the course of my career, I learned to convert prospects you have to simplify the story, show empathy for the customer and perfect their experience. It’s why before developing any strategy, I map the customer journey to identify touch points, communication channels and conversion opportunities. I use these details to develop multichannel campaigns that guide them successfully through the sales funnel.

My journey started in 2006, working at Sacks PR, a Phoenix, Arizona-based boutique B2B agency. Fresh out of graduate school, I counseled CEOs and Directors of Marketing from hot growth startups to a $40 million IT managed services company and an $80 million medical manufacturing organization. Collaborating with powerful decision-makers gave me the entrepreneurial spirit that guides the decisions I make today.

I continued working in agencies for over six years, managing clients that span a variety of verticals. My first in-house job was with Salt River Project (SRP) as a Senior Digital Marketing Strategist. At SRP I managed the digital campaigns for its consumer programs and its English and Spanish websites. I focused my time on improving SRP’s digital capabilities by evaluating, purchasing, and implementing new analytics, email, and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) technologies. One of my largest projects was centralizing analytics into Tableau, allowing team members and leadership to track progress and optimize placements.

My ambition led me to join Plexus Worldwide as its Marketing Campaign Manager in 2018. I launched new products and promoted its Nutrition, Skincare, and Weight Management product lines in U.S. and international markets. I was promoted to the role of Senior Marketing Manager after successfully creating Plexus’ annual weight loss challenge that ran in the United States, Australia and Canada markets. To launch the challenge, I led a cross-functional team that included 10 different departments. Managing the challenge, I more than doubled participation and increased product category sales by 26%.

I made the move to Cable One (Sparklight) in 2021 and lead its acquisition, retention, and reactivation efforts. Taking a multichannel approach, I target small to medium-sized businesses across the U.S. and manage a campaign budget of over $3 million. To date, I have celebrated great success by launching direct response campaigns that resulted in a 30% lift in YOY leads in Q1 of 2022.

Passionate about serving my community, I use my talents by volunteering to help Youth in the Phoenix and in the LGBTQ+ communities. I served on the Board of Directors for Phoenix-based one n ten (2014-2021) and Camp Colley Foundation (2019-2021). As a member, I helped empower the Executive Directors and their team, oversaw the operational budget, and fundraised to support programs. This experience gave me the leadership skills needed to launch revenue-generating marketing campaigns on a limited budget.

My celebrated career includes winning the SRP Presidents’ Spirt of Volunteer award in 2014 and the honor of being named to the 2016 class of Phoenix Business Journal’s 40 Under 40. Focused on serving as a leader, I am a 2019 graduate of Valley Leadership (Class 40).

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, listening to live music, and trying new restaurants. I am an avid runner with the goal of running a marathon in the near future. I spend most days with my five-year-old Shih Poo, Brandi Holli. Being a pet parent is my biggest accomplishment in life.

Now that you know a little about me… let’s connect.
